Internship Projects 2025

This page includes some of my work when I interned at a small print shop called Nebraska Printworks. I am very appreciative of my time spent there because it helped me see the commercial side of printing. I learned a lot about how to handle clients, making creative decisions, working faster, building my design skills, and how to collaborate with others.

Ash Hollow Living History Rendezvous Brochure

I collaborated with another Graphic Designer to create this event brochure. It was an educational event at the Ash Hollow State Historical Park near my hometown of Ogallala. I learned a lot about teamwork and really enjoyed creating it with my co-worker.

Watson Float Valves Logo

The client had a sketch of what they wanted, I simplified it and made a logo for them that is clean and easy to read.

Ogallala Round-Up Rodeo Tickets

I made these tickets for the local rodeo. This was a great experience working directly with our client. I think sometimes simple and clean is the best design for event information.

STOP the Wind Turbines Business Cards

This was a chance to create something for our client that had a passionate message.

The Sam Bass Story

I loved this project! I grew up in an area that had so much western history. I like reading about historical people and events. These were canvasses created for a local bar establishment. The bar has a wall mural depicting the story of the great train robbery of the Union Pacific in Big Springs Nebraska by notorious Sam Bass and his gang. The canvasses were created to tell the story to those who visited the bar and viewed the mural.

I made these forms using InDesign. This was a good exercise using the table and tabs tool.

Andy's Detailing Brochure

This customer wanted an informational brochure about his services. He wanted it detailed but organized. I wanted to visually make it feel like a car wash. So, I tried to deliver the best of both worlds.

Class of 1975 Banner

This was for a Class Reunion. The design was a little retro and the font chosen was intentional.
