Internship Projects 2025

This page includes some of my work when I interned at a small print shop called Nebraska Printworks. I am very appreciative of my time spent there because it helped me see the commercial side of printing. I learned a lot about how to handle clients, making creative decisions, working faster, building my design skills, and how to collaborate with others.

Ash Hollow Living History Rendezvous Brochure

I collaborated with another Graphic Designer to create this event brochure. It was an educational event at the Ash Hallow State Historical Park near my hometown of Ogallala. I learned a lot about teamwork and really enjoyed creating it with my co-worker.

Ogallala Round-Up Rodeo Tickets

I made these tickets for the local rodeo. This was a great experience working directly with our client. I think sometimes simple and clean is the best design for event information.

STOP the Wind Turbines Business Cards

The client is an activist against wind power; they needed some ways of spreading the word about their group that they created as a way of promoting their active protest and beliefs.

The Sam Bass Train Robbery Story Canvases

These canvases tell the story of the great train robbery of the Union Pacific done by Sam Bass and his gang in Big Springs, Nebraska. The client was a bar owner in Big Springs that had a mural depicting this story on the walls inside their establishment, so they wanted canvases that told this story for any tourists that may stop by. This was a very interesting project that required a lot of research and organization of information. It eventually all came together at the end.

I made these shipping slips on InDesign using the tables and tabs tools for Hughes Family Farms Inc.

Andy's Detailing Brochure

The owner wanted a brochure that displayed his cleaning services for different customer's cars he does. I wanted to keep this organized like the client requested while also making it feel like a car wash so potential customers gets a feel for what he has to offer.

Class of 1975 Banner

A class reunion was coming up for the students that graduated in 1975. They requested a banner; I made it a little retro and picked out a font that I thought fit closely to the time.
